Meet the team members of D.P.I. They are an important part of the success of our group.
Nik
Founder/Website Manager/Lead Investigator
Nik has had numerous personal experiences throughout his lifetime from strange occurances, apparitions to poltergeist. Nik has been curious about the paranormal for many years and has had many questions go unanswered which in turn has driven him to wanting to find out more about the paranormal. "I was afraid for many years in my 20's because of some things that happend with the Ouija Board and felt like someone or something was following me all the time. It wasn't until 4 years later that someone help me out and rid me of those fears. Now I want to help others!"
Nik founded D.P.I. in March of 2008 and is very proud of the members in the group and their professionalism. "We have a rock solid group and I couldn't ask for better members."
Terry
Tech Specialist/Field Investigator
Terry was born in North Dakota, and with the exception of 13 years spent in California during his childhood, he has lived here most of my life. Terry currently resides in Grand Forks with his wife Pam. "I have a strong interest in genealogy, and have researched my family’s origins extensively. I also am an electrician and enjoy building, repairing, and modifying electrical devices."
Although their first house in Grand Forks was haunted, Terry's interest in paranormal research really began after becoming a fan of the TV show Ghost Hunters, and after, by accident, got a chance to investigate a court house in North Dakota, which was found to be quite active with paranormal phenomenon. "I take a scientific approach to ghost hunting, and my goal is to obtain irrefutable evidence."
Terry and his wife have done many investigations in recent past, and have gained a ton of experience, and a lot of evidence captured. "We hope to be a valuable part of D.P.I. in the future."
Theresa
Case Manager (Fargo Division)/Historian/Field Investigator
Theresa brings a ton of experience with her to D.P.I. She has had numerous experiences with the paranormal since childhood. She also believes that there are many things out there that we just do not fully understand or appreciate. "Not all of these things can be easily catergorized as having a more mundane basis." She believes in being true and honest in this arena of study and is not afraid to question those who negatively impact the Paranormal field of study.

Megann
Historian/Field Investigator
Megann has had several paranormal experiences throughout her life starting when she was child. She has never been afraid from the experiences, just curious and intrigued. She started researching anything she could find that had to do with the paranormal. Then, when she was seventeen, a T.V. show premiered on the Sci Fi Channel, "I realized I wasn't the only one out there searching. I started investigating on my own with any friend that would dare come with me and tried to learn all I could". She has been investigating the paranormal for about six years now and most recently traveled to Gettysburg, PA to investigate.
Megann joins DPI in hopes of furthering her never ending quest for knowledge and to help other people understand the paranormal. Her experiences have led her to questions that she cannot answer but hopefully someday will.
Kelly M.
Field Investigator
Kelly, new to the team in 2010, went on her first investigation to the Hanger Bar in Emerado, ND. It was there where she had her first personal experience with the paranormal. "It was a chilling experience to say the least and I loved every minute of it! From that investigation I gained valuable knowledge on what goes on behind the scenes of an investigation. Starting with the clients claims, setting up, learning about and using the different equipment, EVP's, debunking, reviewing evidence, and ending with the clients reveal. There's a lot more to it than what is shown on T.V." Like a lot of people in this field, once "Ghost Hunters" aired in 2004, Kelly was hooked and wanted to learn everything she could about the paranormal. "I ran into Nik at the screening of Paranormal Activity in 2009 and he invited me along on an investigation. It was then I went from sitting on my couch watching it on T.V., to experiencing it first hand. Thanks Nik! I look forward to many more investigations in the future with a great team of investigators from D.P.I.
Kelly is looking forward to leaning and growing as an investigator and we are excited to have her as a member of D.P.I.
Ruby
Tech Assistant/Field Investigator
Ruby has always been interested in the paranormal. When she was younger, she used to frequent abandoned houses in serch for anything paranormal and had some personal experiences during her ventures. She also had many experiences within her own home at one time. She had things being moved from one spot to another, her bed shaking at night and she even saw an aparition of a little girl. "I'm really excited to have this chance to be a part of D.P.I. and hope to learn more about the paranormal and experieces that come with it."
Dave
Demonologist/Investigator In-Training
Dave has been interested in the paranormal most of his life. "The aspect of something deeper and beyond what we experience in our daily lives fascinates me. I know there are two forces in this world, one that is good and one that is evil." His true passion, as far as research and study in the field of the paranormal, is the realm of evil (demonic) and the power of good to drive this force from the lives of the affected. "Demonic hauntings are not common, but they do exist." Dave's goal in being a part of D.P.I., is to help individuals who find themselves in the grip of evil, to be freed.
Kelly B.
Investigator In-Training
Kelly joined D.P.I. in 2011 and grew up here in the Red River Valley. She began experiencing paranormal occurrences at a young age; from strange feelings and shadow figures to full body apparitions, but chalked them up to a child's imagination. Kelly spent a couple years living in Europe before moving back to the Valley. It was at this time that she stumbled upon a show on the Scifi channel that she started to wonder if what she had seen was real. Kelly has been searching for those answers since and is hoping D.P.I can help her find them as well as allowing her to learn and grow as an investigator. “This is an amazing opportunity!”
John
Investigator In-Training
John was born in California and moved to North Dakota in 1996. He has had several paranormal experiences in the past, most of which he was not able to explain. "I believe that there is an answer to everything, but when things just didn't add up, it brought out the curiosity in the paranormal for me." John has been involved in investigating the paranormal for a few years now and hopes to be a valuable asset to D.P.I. for years to come.
